About the designer

Heesoo Kwon is the interior designer who graduated from Pratt Institute's BFA Interior Design program in 2022, with a minor in Art History.

She is passionate about creating flexible design concepts that create comfortable and human-centric environments for people. She believes that for an interior space to be both aesthetically pleasing and functionally efficient, designers must put themselves into the perspective of the users. Based on her study and experience, she has developed the ability to communicate effectively with clients, to understand deeper about their stories and preferences, collaborate with others, and produce diverse visual works to present her ideas. She also has good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

With the advance of technology and rapid change of interior design trends, she seeks a balance of classic interior elements with modern innovations. She is dedicated to further studying and experimenting with timeless designs with the integration of current trends. As she views interior spaces as profound representations of personal identity, she aims to further develop her skills and knowledge to create environments that reflect individual identities and provide comfort.
